About Us
A dynamic community of faith rooted in the heart of Alexandra.
Alex Outreach Centre is more than a church — it is a community anchor based in Alexandra, Johannesburg. What began as a Sunday congregation has grown into a multi-faceted ministry encompassing early learning, food relief, health outreach, and family fellowships. We believe caring for a community means showing up for the whole of it: on a Sunday morning, in a classroom, and everywhere in between.
Alex Outreach Centre has been showing up for our neighbours for years through faith-based service and active community building. Operating directly out of our building in Alexandra, we strive to be a refuge, a school, and a support network for families across the township.
Our mission is simple: to share the love of Christ through practical action. Whether through spiritual guidance or physical support in times of need, our doors are open to everyone.
From our very first service in modest spaces to the thriving congregation we are today, our journey has been built on faith, perseverance, and a deep love for our community. We believe that true church is not just a building, but a people equipped to bring hope, practical support, and positive change.
